I've had a tan from a booth, is airbrush tanning the same?

No, its a completely different experience. Unlike a spray booth, airbrushing can be totally personalized. You are hand sprayed by a certified technician, who is able to ensure that your tan is even and streak free. The technician can accentuate certain areas while lightly covering others, so that you achieve the most natural look. You receive a tan customized to your needs every time!

Is DHA safe?

DHA is by far the most popular way of gaining a tanned look with ZERO sun exposure, and it carries less health risks than other methods used to achieve a bronzed complexion; we've also taken care to choose a spray tan solution that is created by doctors and designed with long-term health in mind. DHA is the only active ingredient that's been tested and approved by the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for sunless tanning and on the skin.

Why do you have so many options?

Contrary to popular belief, spray tanning is not the act of “painting your body”. In fact, it’s a very scientific process. DHA is a colourless three-carbon sugar that when applied creates a chemical reaction with the amino acids on your skin's surface cells, which produces a darker, tanned effect. DHA is harmless to your skin as it only reacts with the cells of outermost layer of the skin. The development of your spray tan can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours and the resulting glow depends on the solution and amount of DHA present in the product; your skin type also plays a factor in the overall shade of the spray tan. So we make sure we stock a variety of Express tans and Basic Bronze so we can customize the spray tan to exactly your needs!

Will I be orange?

The formula for a perfect spray tan is: proper preparation + flawless technique + top-shelf product. As long as you do your part, which is come with your skin prepped as per our extensive preparation guidelines, which we go over with you before each spray, we got the rest covered. Plus, orange spray tans are a thing of the past! When you come to get your tan on in our studio, we take the time to talk to you and find out your motivation behind the tan and your glow goals so we can recommend or custom blend!
